Despite the on-going pandemic and COVID-19 restrictions there is a widely held belief that Glasgow and Scotland in general has the resilience to get through these troubled times. In this new world order, ‘small and special’ experiences will prove to be increasingly popular and I’m heartened that so many of my local, national and international colleagues feel the same way and I look forward to resurrecting my planned cultural tours as and when it’s safe and feasible to do so.
In the meantime Cultural Perspectives Limited continues to strengthen its involvement with various global partnerships and networks.
Travel Massive started in Sydney in 2010 and has since grown to over 170 cities around the world to connect the travel industry at locally organised gatherings and online events to meet, learn and share ideas. Its Glasgow-based chapter is one of its most successful and this summer I was invited by them to discuss Glasgow’s cultural rebirth. This presentation is now available at:
