It’s been great to see both Australian and New Zealand visitors back in the UK this year following the lifting of all of their Covid travel restrictions. Given that many specialist tour operators in these countries plan their European programmes anything up to two or three years in advance, they’ve been particularly badly affected. That said, Cultural Perspectives are pleased to have welcomed groups from ASA (Australians Studying Abroad) amongst other organisations, as part of their Scottish tours this summer providing some exclusive content alongside the usual cultural highlights such as Glasgow’s City Chambers (as illustrated). Similar ‘partnered visits’ are already scheduled for summer 2024 and I look forward to these.
