Despite ongoing challenges, not least the cost of living crisis, 2023 provides Cultural Perspectives with several new opportunities including providing Glasgow-themed tours for a number of specialist study groups coming from Australia with many of these tours originally planned for 2020 and 2021 and subsequently deferred. Closer to home, 2023 sees the Charles Rennie Mackintosh Society celebrate its 50th anniversary. There are a variety of events planned throughout the year in Glasgow – details at www.crmsociety.com Elsewhere, ‘Charles Rennie Mackintosh en Roussillon’ is an associate group of the Society based in Port Vendres, France and they will be hosting a number tours, talks and other events in and around Port Vendres and nearby Collioure during September. These aim to celebrate Mackintosh’s later life spent in this corner of south-west France and Cultural Perspectives will be assisting with the programme
